It is always great to see what new specials La Tienda is going to roll out at the start of each month. It turns out delicious specialty products from the North East Spanish Province of Galicia are on the table for August.
You can now purchase amazing canned favorites from the sea such as Razor Clams, Mejillones (Mussles), Chipirones en su Tinta (Baby Squid in its own ink) Pulpo (Octopus) and my personal favorite Berberechos (baby clams).
In addition to seafaring foods, they also have various breads from the region, and the risque Tetilla Cheese which needs little translation from the looks of things. This is an amazingly creamy and flavorful cheese.
Galicia is also well know for their special style of Chorizo which is also available in a couple different variations.
